1. Answer any three questions ( word limit 200-250 words ) :10 x 3

b) Write a brief note on the decline of the Harappan civilization .

c) write short note on the Early Vedic Society .

d) Write a short note on the extent of the empire of Chandragupta Maurya..

e) Write a short note on the Sunga Art.

 

2. Answer any two questions ( word limit 700-800 words ) :20 x 2

a) Write an essay on the states of the Sangama Age.

b) Write an essay on the evolution or in India from the Mahajanapadas to 12th Century .

c) Identify the main features of urbanisation in India from 500 B.C to 1000 AD .

3.  Write any essay on any one of the following ( word limit: 1500 words ): 40

a) Evolution of caste system in ancient India.

b) Growth of regional language and text in India from the 8th Century to 12th Century AD
