Recruitment Examination, 2014 for the post of Deputy Manager under the Kolkata Municipal Corporation. On line applications are invited from the Indian citizens for recruitment to the post of Deputy Manager in the Kolkata Municipal Corporation.
Essential qualifications: (i) An Honours degree from a recognized University or its equivalent Or
(ii) A degree from a recognized University or its equivalent with 50% marks in Degree Examination.
Desirable: - Passing the examination of “O” Level in Computer Application approved by A.I.C.T.E.
Pay: Pay Band – 4A, Rs.15600 -42000/- + Grade Pay Rs.5400/-plus other admissible allowances.
Tentative Vacancies :- Main Panel :- 21(UR -05, SC – 07, ST -03, OBC(A)-02 & OBC(B) – 04). Supplementary Panel: - 10 (UR – 07, SC-02 & OBC (A)-01). For PH candidates having hearing impairment up to maximum 50% on medical terms are eligible for the post.
Age: Lower and upper age limits are 18 & 37 years as on 1st January, 2014. Upper age concession up to 5 years is admissible only to SC and ST candidates and up to 3 years to OBC candidates (category -A & B) of West Bengal. Such benefits are also available up to 45 years for physically Handicapped candidate.
