3.  Mention the salient features of the Classification of World Climate as suggested by Koppen. Comment on its merits and demerits.    10+10=20

 

4.  What are the geneses of Global Warming? How does this phenomenon-affect the environment ?       10+10=20

 

5.  Write short notes on any two of the following :

    (a) Landforms evolved from ‘interrupted cycle of erosion’.

    (b) Types of Natural Disasters and their origin.

    (c) Causes of soil degradation.

    (d) Ozone holes.       10+10=20

                                                          Answer any two questions.

 

6.  Discuss the concept of Megalopolis. Who had first coined the term? Give examples indicating their spatial dimension.     10+5+5=20

 

7.  Elaborate the concept of Sustainable Development.  Discuss this with reference to Indian Agriculture.      10+10=20
