Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) is inviting from Male Indian citizens for 800 vacancies in the posts of – CONSTABLE (FIRE). Interested and eligible candidates may apply only on prescribe application format along with their documents on or before the last date of 19/01/2015. Name Of the post: CONSTABLE (FIRE)
Total No. of posts: 800 Nos.
Age Limit: Not less than 18 years and not more than 23 years as on the closing date for the receipt of applications from candidates (i.e. 19-01-2015).
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or 10th Pass with Science subject.
Physical Standards:
- Height: 170 Cms.
- Chest: Minimum 80 CM with minimum expansion of 05 CM
- Weight: Proportionate to height and age as per medical standard.
- Eye sight: The minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 of two eyes without correction i.e. without wearing of glasses.
Selection Process:
- Height Test: Candidates will be made to pass under a bar which has been put at the minimum height required. Those who pass through under the bar will be rejected
- Run: 5 Kilometers to be completed in 24 minutes
- Physical Standards Test: Height, chest and weight of the candidate will be recorded. Those who do not meet the eligibility criteria will be rejected.
- Identity Check: The identity of the candidates who qualify will be verified using
- Documentation: Documents in support of educational qualifications, domicile and other eligibility criteria, relaxations etc. will be checked.
- Written Examination: The written examination for 100 marks will consist of 100 objective type multiple choice questions to be answered in 120 minutes.The question paper will be set to assess the general awareness/general knowledge, knowledge of elementary mathematics, analytical aptitude and ability to observe and distinguish patterns and to test the basic knowledge of the candidate in English/Hindi. The questions will be set both in Hindi and English.
Application Fee: A candidates who want to apply have to pay of Rs.50/- (Rupees fifty only) in the form of Postal Order.
