For admission to Post Graduate degree (M.Sc.) in Bangalore Indian Institute of Science and others 11 Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) through JAM examination. This year, JAM-2014 application process is started already. Graduate students who desire to complete M.Sc. degree from any IIT may apply for JAM-2014 exam. Students may complete their Post Graduate degree on the following papers:
1. M.Sc. on Biotechnology.
2. M.Sc. & P.hd on Chemistry.
3. M.Sc. & P.hd on Energy.
4. M.Sc. on Computer Application.
5. M.Sc. & P.hd Applied Geology.
6. M.Sc. & P.hd on Applied Geophysics.
7. M.Tech in Geophysical Technology.
8. M.Sc. & P.hd on Mathematics.
9. M.Sc & P.hd on Physics.
Students must have 55% marks on Graduation degree (50% required for SC/ST/PH) may apply for Joint Admission Test (JAM-2014). The examination will held on 9th February, 2014. The examination centers are, Kolkata, Khargapur, Durgapur, Siliguri, Asansol, Kallayani, Bhubaneswwar, Patna, Guwahati, Dhanbad, Jorhat, Ranchi. 1st season exam will held from 09:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. oh this following papers, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematical Statistic. 2nd season exam will held from 02:00 p.m. to 05:00 p.m. on this following papers, Biological Sciences, Mathematics, Physics.
Application for JAM-2014 examination either done through online or offline. Online application process will still continue from 16th September, 2013 to 16th October, 2013. Candidates can apply for JAM exam on the following website; http://gate.iitk.ac.in/jam and students must have an valid e-mail id. The application fees for one test paper Rs. 1500/- (For SC/ST/PH/Girls candidates Rs. 750/- ) and for two test papers Rs. 2100/- (For SC/ST/PH/Girls Rs. 1050/-) will be paid through ‘Net Banking’ or ‘Bank Challan’. Candidates can submit their exam fees through Bank Challan on any branch of SBI within 12th October, 2013.
After paid the application fees, update your details on the following website and download the system generated application form and print it out. Then attached the following documents with it, –
1. Two color photographs.
2. Age proof certificate.
3. Education qualification certificate.
4. Cast Certificate (if applicable).
5. Original fee payment challan.
