Bengal School of Technology (BST) is an outcome of ideas, dream and creativity of a group of enterprising persons who got together and began a most ambitious programme of philanthropy. In this direction a non-profit making trust viz. Supreme Educational Development & charitable Organization (SEDCO) is established to undertake the noble venture of rendering service to the society through establishment of Technological and Professional Institutions of a high standard and also to produce professionals of the highest quality who will be able to cope with the challenges of ever evolving industrials needs of the country. The formation of BST is the first step towards fulfilling its mission. The Institution is approved by AICTE and PCI, affiliated to West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT) for imparting B. Pharm and M. Pharm courses. BST is committed to impart highest possible standard of technical education to the young aspirants of our country and also to instill in them and make them committed to the moral value and ethics thereby making them technologically superior and ethically strong.

 

Admission:

B. Pharm (Intake: 60): Minimum Eligibility for Application
Candidates qualified in West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (W.BJ.E.E; Engg &Tech.) and 10+2 examination of the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or any other approved board /university of India with 50% marks and combination of subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology, are eligible for applying to this course. As per norms of the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education, candidates are selected on the basis of their ranks in the West Bengal JEE (Engg Tech) for admission in B. Pharm.
 
Admission of Lateral Entry students: Intake (Lateral): 12
Candidates with a diploma in pharmacy from a recognized AICTE approved polytechnic institute of West Bengal with a minimum of 60% marks and a score in Joint Entrance Examination (JELET) for Lateral Entry (conducted by W.B.J.E.E) are eligible to apply for admission in the 3rd semester of the graduate programme (total of 8 semesters). Seat reservation for such admissions are limited to only 20% of the approved intake by AICTE to this course in the beginning of the programme.
