My dear Ankita,
Recently I enjoyed an old classic Bengali movie named, 'Saptapadi' best on the story written by great Bengali writer Tarashankar Bandhapadhyay. The movie was shown on T.V on the birth anniversary of legendary actress Suchitra Sen. The film revolves round the romance of Krishnendu and Rina Brown science their college days and their ultimate marriage. The movie is marked by some wonderful pieces of acting by greatest Bengali film pair - Uttam Kumar and Suchitra Sen, who were at their very best in the movie. Unique photography was an added attraction of the film. Another important aspect of the movie has been the wonderful voices of the first pair of Bengali background singers- Hemantho and Shandhya Mukhopadhyay. This has given the film a different dimension to the movie. It is needless to say, I was tremendously forward to watching it whenever an opportunity is the offing. More about it later. I am okay.
