July 14, 1930, Rabindranath Tagore and Albert Einstein met through a common friend, Dr. Mendel. Rabindranath visited Einstein at the Dr. Mendel home. Both conversations were record and published in The Religion of Man (George, Allen & Unwin, Ltd., London), Appendix II, pp. 222-225.
