সেরা ছবির পুরস্কার পেলেন স্টিভ ম্যাকুইনের 'টুয়েলভ ইয়ার্স আ স্লেভ' । ‘ব্লু জেসমিন’ সিনেমায় অসাধারণ অভিনয় করে ‘সেরা অভিনেত্রী’ বিভাগে অস্কার অর্জন করেন কেইট ব্লানচেট । ‘সেরা অভিনেতা’র অস্কার জিতে নিয়েছেন ম্যাথিউ ম্যাককোনাহে। ‘সেরা অ্যানিমেটেড’ চলচ্চিত্রের পুরস্কারটি জিতে নিয়েছেন ডিজনির সর্বশেষ অ্যানিমেশন ‘ফ্রোজেন’ । ‘সেরা সিনেমাটোগ্রাফি’, ‘সেরা সাউন্ড এডিটিং’, ‘সেরা সাউন্ড মিক্সিং’, ‘সেরা আবহ সংগীত’ এবং ‘সেরা ভিজ্যুয়াল ইফেক্ট’-এর পুরস্কারও গেছে ‘গ্র্যাভিটি’র ঘরে। ‘বিদেশি ভাষার সেরা চলচ্চিত্র’-এর পুরস্কার জিতে নিয়েছে ইতালির সিনেমা ‘দ্য গ্রেট বিউটি’। সিনেমাটি পরিচালনা করেছেন পাওলো সোরেন্তিনো।‘সেরা চিত্রনাট্য (অরিজিনাল)’-এর অস্কার অর্জন করেছেন স্পাইক জোঞ্জ, ‘হার’ সিনেমার সুবাদে।
