Merit-cum-Means Scholarship scheme 2018 for Minority students, Application Process & Eligibility criteria.
West Bengal Minority Development department announced Merit-cum-Means scholarship 2018 for Minority students for their higher studies. Students who are studying in various technical or professional course from various institute can eligible for this scholarship. Only minority students (Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Parsi) can apply for Merit-cum-Means scholarship. For apply for this scholarship scheme, candidates must be a permanent resident of West Bengal. And must passed the last final examination with 50% marks. For technical or professional course, candidate’s annual family income not more than 2.50 lakes. And age must be between 16 years to 32 years on the basis of 1st April, 2013. Students can awarded maximum Rs. 30,000/- as scholarship per year. For Higher Secondary, Under Graduate or Post Graduates course, the annual family income must be less than 2 lakes.
Application for Merit-cum-Means scholarship 2013 must be done through online. Last date for apply this scholarship is 30th September, 2013. For apply this scholarship students must visit this website www.wbmdfc.org. After visit this website, students can get an online application form. One valid e-mail id is required for fill-up the application form for Merit-cum-Means scholarship 2013. After fill up the online application form students must take print out of system generated application form. Submit this application with credentials on their institutions. Required documents, which are attached with application -
1. Bank Pass Book (Name, Account Number, Bank Branch)
2. One cancelled CTS cheque.
3. And other qualification documents, like last passed exam’s mark sheet, madhyamik mark sheet, admit etc.
Last date to submit the application form on the institutions is 10th October, 2013. After review and scrutiny the applications institutions must submit it on WBMDFC office within 20th October. The address is: The Managing Director WBMDFC, AMBER’, DD-27/E, Salt Lake City, Sec-I, Kolkata-64.
