রবীন্দ্রভারতী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় কলকাতার একটি সরকারি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়। ১৯৬২ সালের ৮ মে এই বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়। ১৯৬১ সালে রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুরের জন্মশতবর্ষ উপলক্ষ্যে কবির নামাঙ্কিত এই বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় স্থাপনের উদ্যোগ গৃহীত হয়। এই বছরই পশ্চিমবঙ্গ সরকার রবীন্দ্রভারতী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় আইন, ১৯৬১ পাস করে। বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের প্রধান শিক্ষাপ্রাঙ্গনটি জোড়াসাঁকো ঠাকুরবাড়িতে অবস্থিত। দ্বিতীয় শিক্ষাপ্রাঙ্গনটি রয়েছে কাশীপুরে ব্যারাকপুর ট্রাঙ্ক রোডের ধারে মরকত কুঞ্জে।
