Candidates are required to give their answers in their own words

as far as practicable.

 

Answer all questions.

 

                                       1. a) Construct a regular pentagon of 3 cm side using scale

                                               and compass only.

 

OR

 

                                          b) Construct an ellipse with two axes given as 6 cm and

                                              4 cm.                                                                                                 10

 

                                      2. a) A line AB 6 cm long lying 4 cm away from V.P. in such

                                              a manner that one end of A is 3 cm above H.P. and the

                                              line makes an angle of 30° with H.P. Draw its

                                              projections.

 

OR

 

                                          b) A line AB of 6 cm length makes an angle of 30° with

                                              H.P. and 60° and V.P. Draw its projections.                                      15

 

                                      3. a) Draw projctions of a regular hexagonal plane of side

                                              5 cm which is placed vertically on H.P. and inclined at

                                              45° with V.P.

 

OR

 

                                          b) A circular plane of 6 cm dia is placed vertically on H.P.

                                              and perpendicular to V.P. Draw its projections.                                  15

 

                                      4. a) A circular cone of diameter 6 cm and height 14 cm is

                                              cut by a plane at a height of 6 cm at an angle of 30°

                                              with H.P. Find the projections.
