Universities in West Bengal

পশ্চিমবঙ্গ রাষ্ট্রীয় বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় ,All the 59 colleges (including undergraduate, postgraduate and B-ED) in the district of North 24 Parganas, which were formerly affiliated with the University of Calcutta, are affiliated to this university.

সিধো কানো বিরসা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় ভারতের পশ্চিমবঙ্গ রাজ্যের একটি রাজ্য বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়। পুরুলিয়া ও বাঁকুড়া শহরে এই বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের শিক্ষাপ্রাঙ্গনদুটি অবস্থিত। ২০১০ সালে এই বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়। পুরুলিয়া ও বাঁকুড়া জেলার ৩০টি কলেজ এই বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের এক্তিয়ারভুক্ত। এই বিশ্ববিদ্যালত স্থাপনের উদ্দেশ্য আদিবাসী ভাষা ও সংস্কৃতির প্রসার ও সংরক্ষণ।
