The Background of the Indian Constitution & the features borrowed from Foreign Constitutions
During World War II and under the stress of international conditions Sir Stafford Cripps was sent over to India on March 24, 1942 to win over the support of Indian political leaders. Sir Stafford Cripps proposed for setting up a body for preparing the Constitution of India after the termination of the War.
